KENYA LUCAS is an American born singer/songwriter descending from the Caribbean. Kenya realized her passion for the arts as a young girl growing up in New York City. She honed her writing skills in high school, working alongside some of today’s legends at a Sony Records subsidiary, Soul Convention records. Here she watched artists such as Mary J Blige become stars while absorbing the process of creating a great song.
As an artist, Kenya has remained true to her Caribbean and New York City roots, writing and recording songs that display her rhythmic talent and distinct vocals.
